Avera Health is a ministry of the Benedictine Sisters of Yankton, SD, and the Presentation Sisters of Aberdeen, SD.  Avera has more than 330 locations in 100 communities located in South Dakota and surrounding areas of Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska and North Dakota including six regional centers in Aberdeen, Mitchell, Pierre, Sioux Falls and Yankton, SD, and Marshall, MN.
