Bought package of 5 swedish massages for $100. Donna started rubbing oil on me, and explained that's what a "swedish" massage is. She demonstrated what a "deep tissue" massage would be if I wanted it for an extra $15. Her "deep tissue" was a typical swedish massage. I've had many massages over the years with many different masseuses and I know the difference between the two. I wasn't going to spend my appt. with her lightly rubbing oil over my body. That's not a massage. I refused to pay the addl. money and was also not interested in what she considered a "swedish" massage. I ended the appt. I was refunded money for my remaining sessions, Dr. Dan was not willing to speak with me. Very unprofessional. Most places charge $60-$70 for a swedish massage. Most people would jump at the chance to sign up for a massage for $30-$35, but to have it offered at $20, when you're on the table with oil on your back, to then be backed into a corner to have a decent experience is unconscionable.
