This was my 3rd trip here to renew my non CDL medical card. The doctor is cool. His new nurse is not. I'm blind in my left eye, have been since i was 14. I passed everything. Then the nurse tells me i have to get a vision waiver. She gives me a number to call where no one ever answers. Further research online, i have to see an eye specialist to say my eye can not be corrected. Probably a few hundred out of my pocket. I have a current Indiana license. So i also have to submit a crash report another 25. A copy of my driving record. A statement from my employer. Copies of my current drivers license front and back. Then you mail all that to them with a stamped return envelope. They have 180 days to give you there decision. I also read it is at the nurse or doctors choice to request this.
