Never again!
My brother and mother went for a visit for flu symptoms and Dr. Jonathan Annis was extremely unprofessional to my mom. My mother's English is not perfect and, as she tried to explain to him my brother's symptoms, he rudely told her that she had been in the United States too long for her to not speak English perfectly. His racist remarks absolutely disgust me! I feel sorry for any other patients who have experienced this! Oh, and on top of this, the medicine was not ordered.
This is a doctor who is supposed to make patients feel comfortable and safe, and his behavior induces absolutely the opposite. The Soledad community is for the most part of Latino descent, and not everyone's English pronunciation will be at 100%. If he does not want to treat patients with specific backgrounds, then I suggest he leaves the clinic or moves on elsewhere. He is in need of improving his bedside manners. I cannot imagine, or understand, how others tolerate this doctor. I truly hope the rest of the staff condemns this type of behavior and is for a more inclusive clinic.
