What other costs should I be prepared to pay?

There are no other costs that should be added to the cost of a DOT exam, provided that the driver meets the exam criteria. The potential exists that a driver may require additional medical work-up as a direct result of negative findings in the exam. Examples include: Risk of sleep apnea, positive for hypertension, positive for diabetes, failure to meet other medical requirements. In these cases (and potentially others), additional testing could required at additional cost.
